The aim of this Health and Safety policy is to prevent accidents, injuries, and ill health arising from our gardening, landscaping, and maintenance services. We will achieve this by identifying hazards, assessing risks, implementing suitable controls, and continuously improving our working practices. We seek to ensure that health and safety considerations are integrated into planning, decision making, and day to day operations across all sites where Gardeners Ruxley operates.

Management Responsibilities

The management of Gardeners Ruxley has overall responsibility for implementing this policy and ensuring that adequate resources are available to maintain high standards of health and safety. Management will set clear expectations, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure that safe systems of work are followed. Senior personnel are responsible for reviewing risk assessments, arranging appropriate training, and taking prompt action where improvements are required.

Managers and supervisors will lead by example, promote safe behaviour, and ensure that staff understand their responsibilities.
